NSW: Questions over Sartor's planning moves, and developer cash
SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - NSW Planning Minister Frank Sartor approved a controversial land
rezoning in the flight path of Canberra airport, for a developer who donated almost $165,000
to the NSW Labor party over five years.
The developer, the Village Building Company, had also hired a former ACT Labor minister
Paul Whalan to lobby the NSW government over the land which had been deemed unfit for
housing by an expert panel.
The rezoning was approved last year, delivering an estimated $200 million windfall
