NSW: Family Court registaries to strike today

Several Family Court registries across Australia will be closed today as staff go on
strike in protest against 400 planned job cuts.

Members of the Community and Public Sector Union will be taking part in a national
day of protest.

CPSU national president MATTHEW REYNOLDS says some members have elected to walk off
the job, while others will dress in black and hand out information brochures to clients.

Mr REYNOLDS claims CPSU members are being subjected to an intolerable level of insecurity.
