Vic: Test for fuel contanminants finalised
Air safety experts believe they've developed a test for the contaminent in Mobil fuel
which has grounded about 5000 light aircraft across Australia.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority has trialled the three stage test on light planes
at Melbourne's Moorabbin airport today, and a spokesman says the results are good.
He says CASA and Mobil Oil, which supplied the contaminated fuel, are happy with the
test, but want it verified by an independent expert.
